Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Huddle Up: Pittman likely will return to practice later in the week and should not be in danger of missing Week 8. He should be one of the main options in the passing game for the Colts and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. ended up with three receptions for a team-high 63 yards on five targets in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.
Huddle Up: Pittman connected with backup Joe Flacco for his first two touchdowns of the season in the previous two games. He has three or more receptions in all seven games to date. Anthony Richardson has been a bit erratic under center, but Pittman remains a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option regardless of who is under center. The Colts travel to Houston in Week 8.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) is officially active for the Week 7 game.
Huddle Up: Pittman has caught a touchdown in each of the last two games and should see a good amount of targets this week. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) is expected to play in Week 7's game against the Miami Dolphins, according to sources.
Huddle Up: Pittman was listed as questionable on the injury report after fully participating in one of the team's three practice sessions during the week but missing the other two sessions. He only has one game this season with more than 37 receiving yards and should not be considered as anything more than a flex option in deeper fantasy leagues this week.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, after being a full participant the day before and is questionable for Week 7.
Huddle Up: Pittman went from a full practice on Thursday to no practice on Friday, making him a true question mark. Even if he plays, Pittman is a nothing more than a flex option after having just one game north of 37 yards. Making matters worse, Anthony Richardson is back, which amounts to a downgrade from Joe Flacco. If Pittman Jr. sits, Josh Downs and Alec Pierce, both of whom are questionable, also, become slightly better options for flex spots.

Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and CB Chris Lammons (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, and were ruled out for Week 7. Also, OT Braden Smith (knee), WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) and DE Dayo Odeyingbo (hamstring) did not practice and are questionable, WR Alec Pierce (shoulder) and LB E.J. Speed (knee) practiced in full but are questionable, WR Josh Downs (toe) was limited and is questionable, DT Grover Stewart (rest) did not practice but carries no designation and C Ryan Kelly (calf), QB Anthony Richardson (oblique) and RB Trey Sermon (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) was not spotted at practice on Friday, Oct. 18.
Huddle Up: Pittman went from a DNP on Wednesday to practicing fully on Thursday, so there is no way to know if the Colts decided to let him rest his back again or if he had a setback. With Anthony Richardson expected to return in Week 7, Pittman goes from a potential solid WR2 option to more of a low-end WR3 at best - and that does not account for the injury risk he currently carries. If this was a setback, Josh Downs should be viewed as the clear alpha receiver in this offense and possesses WR2 upside.

Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) was a full participant in practice on Thursday, Oct. 17, after not practicing the day before.
Huddle Up: Pittman Jr. is now on track to suit up, although the bad news is Anthony Richardson is expected back and will likely be a downgrade for Colts pass-catchers. Pittman Jr. only has one game north of 37 yards but he has scored a touchdown in each of the last two games. He's a touchdown-dependent flex option in Week 7.
